Three Greek players for Pembroke Athleta

Bottom-placed Pembroke Athleta strengthened their squad with the signing of three Greek players – goalkeeper Argyris Roppas, defensive midfielder Iraklis Roppas and attacking midfielder Panagiotis Giannopoulos.

Thirty-year old goalkeeper Argyris Roppas was on the books of Elpida Xylofagou in Cyprus

Thirty-three year old Iraklis Roppas has always played in Greece and was on the books of Aias Salaminas, Enosi Aspropyrgou, PO Elassona, Niki Volos, AO Nea Ionia and Vyzas Megara.

On the other hand, twenty-two year old Panagiotis Giannopoulos played for Panserraikos Serres in Greece, Ethnikos Achnas in Cyprus, Pierikos Katerini in Greece and PAEEK in Cyprus before joining GAS Ialysos 1948 in Greece earlier this season.

Meanwhile Pembroke have released Oleksandar Maksymov, Jhonthan Bernardo Mariano and Borce Manevski.
