After being held in a 3-3 draw by Hamrun Spartans last week, Hibernians will be all out to return to winning ways as they take on Sliema Wanderers in one of the four BOV Premier League matches in programme at the National Stadium and Hibernians Stadium.

In the other matches, St. Andrews take on Floriana, Tarxien Rainbows face Birkirkara and Hamrun Spartans cross swords with Gzira United.

St. Andrews vs Floriana, kick-off 14:00 at Hibernians Stadium
Floriana aim for a fourth win on the trot after defeating Mosta, Birkirkara and Pembroke in their last three outings. A win which would enable them to maintain the challenge for one of the top three positions. St. Andrews, on the other hand, failed to win any of their last eight matches, collecting five points in draws including last week’s 2-2 draw with Birkirkara. They are currently ninth on 23 points, seven ahead of Mosta and nine ahead of Pembroke.

St. Andrews welcome back Felix Okon Udoh but Enmy Pena Beltre is ruled out through suspension.

The Greens had already defeated St. Andrews twice this season – 3-1 and 4-1.

Tarxien Rainbows vs Birkirkara, kick-off 16:00 at Hibernians Stadium
After suffering back-to-back defeats to Hibernians and Gzira, Tarxien will be aiming for a positive result as they face Birkirkara. The Stripes dropped five points in their last two outings in a defeat to Floriana and a draw with St. Andrews to fall ten points behind the leaders and six behind third-placed Valletta. They are currently fifth.

Birkirkara welcome back Christian Bubalovic and Joseph Zerafa but Ryan Scicluna is suspended. Matthew Tabone returns for Tarxien but Alex da Paixao Alves serves a one-match ban.

In the previous rounds, Birkirkara defeated Tarxien 4-0 and 3-1.

Hamrun Spartans vs Gzira United, kick-off 14:00 at National Stadium
Following a fine performance in a 3-3 draw with Hibernians, Hamrun Spartans would be aiming for victory as they take on Gzira United who are coming from an important win over Tarxien in their last outing. Five points separate the two teams with Hamrun lying eighth on 27 points and Gzira tenth on 22.

Jorginho returns for Hamrun after serving a three-match ban. Moises Avila Perez is ruled out for Gzira but Antonio Orlando de Queiroz Machedo Neto will be back after missing the last game through suspension.

In the first round, the two teams shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw but Hamrun won the second round clash 2-0.

Sliema Wanderers vs Hibernians, kick-off 16:00 at National Stadium
After disappointing in a 3-3 draw with Hamrun – a draw which cost them the top spot, Hibernians will be all out to return to winning ways as they take on an inconsistent Sliema Wanderers side which lost four out of the last seven matches and is coming from a 1-3 defeat to Valletta.

The Wanderers could not count on the suspended Denni Rocha dos Santos but Ricardo Correa will be back after serving a one-match ban. Andrei Agius returns for Hibernians after missing the last game.

In the previous rounds, Hibernians defeated Sliema 1-0 and 3-1.
