Two Serbian players for Balzan

BOV Premier League runners-up Balzan continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of two Serbian players – central defender Milan Savic and right winger Uros Ljubomirac.

Twenty-three year old Savic started his career with Partizan Belgrade and then played for KAA Gent and Hoogstraten n Belgium, OFK Beograd and FK Novi Pazar in Serbia apart from a spell with Anorthosis Famagusta in Cyprus.

On the other hand, twenty-seven year old Ljubomirac has always played in Serbia, turning out for Mladost Lucani, Lokomotiva Belgrade, Javor Matis Ivanjica, Indjija, IMT Belgrade, Dinamo Vranje and FK Zemun.

Meanwhile Balzan have also signed nineteen year old goalkeeper Dorian Bugeja from Hibernians. Last season, Bugeja, who had a spell with US Latina in Italy earlier in his career, was on the books of St. Andrews.

Balzan, now under the guidance of coach Marco Micovic, have already signed Michael Johnson from St. Andrews and Alex da Paixao Alves from Tarxien.
