Hamrun Spartans continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of Brazilians Tiago Souza da Silveira and Thiago Espindola de Paula.

Both thirty-year old central defender Tiago Souza da Silviera, known as Tiago Indio, and twenty-four year old left back Thiago Espindola de Paula, known as Thiaguinho, have always played in Brazil.

Hamrun had earlier secured the services of midfielder Terence Agius on loan from Balzan.

The Spartans had already signed goalkeepers Jake Galea and Steve Sultana, defenders Dale Camilleri and Daniel Zerafa and midfielder Triston Caruana.
