St. Andrews continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of a number of foreign players apart from four local players.

They secured the services of Canadian defender Tristan Grant and Jamaicans Kevaun St Michael Atkinson, Kemar David Reid, Ricardo Adrian Martin, Chevaughn Nicholas Mclaren, Kyle Butler and Travis Blagrove. Grant, Atkinson, Reid, Martin and Mclaren were on the books of Mosta last season although Mclaren spent the latter part of the season with Sirens in Division 1. Nineteen year old midfielder Kyle Butler joins the club from Westerlo in Belgium while twenty-three year old central defender Travis Blagrove is another member of the Phoenix All Stars Academy led by Craig Butler.

The Saints had earlier signed Ghanian striker Innocent Tano Azian and Italian attacking midfielder Federico Mini. The twenty-seven year old striker was on the books of Udinese and later played for the second team of Granada CF in Spain. Mini, on the other hand, is twenty-three years old and played for Pordenone after starting his career with Udinese.

Meanwhile after signing goalkeeper Matthew Calleja Cremona from Pembroke Athleta, St. Andrews also secured the services of Dario Zampa, Adrian Borg and Matthew Robert Gauci.

A product of Valletta, twenty-one year old Dario Zampa had earlier played for Pietà Hotspurs and Sirens. Twenty-five year old midfielder Matthew Gauci is a product of Hibernians and played for Hamrun Spartans, Qormi and Zebbug Rangers. On the other hand, twenty-eight year old defender Adrian Borg is a product of Mosta but had spells with Hamrun Spartans and Pembroke Athleta.
