Two sets of Maltese match officials will be controlling matches from the European Qualifiers leading to the 2018 FIFA World Cup this weekend.

FIFA referee Clayton Pisani has been appointed by FIFA to officiate the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia – Preliminary Competition European Zone Group A match Luxembourg vs Belarus on Thursday in Luxembourg City’s Josy Barthel Stadium.

His team includes FIFA officials Alan Camilleri and Edward Spiteri as assistant referees, and Trustin Farrugia Cann as the Fourth Official.

On the other hand, FIFA referee Alan Mario Sant has been appointed by FIFA to officiate the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia – Preliminary Competition European Zone Group B match Faroe Islands vs Andorra next Sunday in Tórsvøllur National Football Stadium, Torshavn.

His team includes FIFA officials Roberto Vella and Jurgen Spiteri as assistant referees, and Trustin Farrugia Cann as Fourth Official.
