Leaders Gzira United take on champions Hibernians in this weekend’s big match from the BOV Premier League in one of the four matches in programme at the National Stadium and Victor Tedesco Stadium.

Naxxar Lions vs Lija Athletic, kick-off 18:00 at National Stadium
After collecting a point in a goalless draw with Valletta, Naxxar will be aiming at obtaining their first win as they take on Lija Athletic who are chasing their first points after suffering defeats to Gzira, Mosta and Senglea.

Gzira United vs Hibernians, kick-off 20:00 at National Stadium
After defeating Lija, Birkirkara and Tarxien, Gzira hope to make it four wins in a row as they take on champions Hibernians. However this will be no easy task for the Maroons who are eager to bounce back after being held in a draw by Floriana last week, after defeating St. Andrews and Hamrun in the first two matches.

Senglea Athletic vs Birkirkara, kick-off 18:00 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
After both sides registered their first win in their last outing, both Senglea and Birkirkara target a second win on Saturday. Following a draw with Floriana and a defeat to Gzira, the Stripes registered their first win as they beat Mosta 2-0 while Senglea held Sliema in a 2-2 draw, lost narrowly to Valletta but then defeated Lija 3-2.

Hamrun Spartans vs Balzan, kick-off 20:15 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
Following a defeat to St. Andrews and a draw with Sliema, Balzan hope to bounce back in the clash with Hamrun Spartans but the Spartans target another positive result after claiming six points in wins over Tarxien and St. Andrews and a defeat to Hibernians.
