Sliema Wanderers hope to return to winning ways as they take on Lija Athletic while Birkirkara will be aiming at ending their disappointing run in the clash with Naxxar Lions. Tarxien Rainbows take on Senglea Athletic in the other match.

Lija Athletic vs Sliema Wanderers, kick-off 18:00 at National Stadium
After collecting their first point in a draw with Naxxar, Lija Athletic will be hoping for another positive result as they take on Sliema. The Blues are eager to bounce back with a win following a draw with Balzan and a defeat to Valletta in their last two outings.

Birkirkara vs Naxxar Lions, kick-off 20:00 at National Stadium
After losing two out of the last three matches, Birkirkara will be all out to return to winning ways as they take on Naxxar Lions who earned their second point in a draw with Lija last week. The Stripes disappointed in a narrow defeat to Senglea Athletic, having collected just four points from the first four matches.

Elhadji Oussenyou Ndaye is ruled out for Naxxar as he serves a one-match ban.

Tarxien Rainbows vs Senglea Athletic, kick-off 18:00 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
Steve D’Amato’s Senglea Athletic will be aiming for a third consecutive win following back-to-back victories over Lija Athletic and Birkirkara. The Rainbows, on the other hand, continue to chase their first points after suffering four defeats in the first four outings.

Hamrun Spartans vs Floriana, kick-off 20:15 at Victor Tedesco Stadium
Following a 4-0 win over St. Andrews, Floriana will be aiming at extending their unbeaten run as they take on Hamrun Spartans. The Greens earned eight points from two wins and two draws while Hamrun lie one point behind them with two wins, a defeat and a draw to Balzan last week. Quite a disappointing draw considering that Balzan ended playing in nine men.

Hamrun’s Pedro Henrique and Floriana’s Steve Pisani are both ruled out through suspension.
