By scoring a late decisive goal for Sirens FC against Vittoriosa Stars in a match from the BOV First Division at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on the 24th September, prolific striker Giovanni Galea notched another milestone in his football career.

With this goal Giovanni Galea has found the net in all MFA divisions. During season 2013/14, with Sirens FC in the Third Division, Galea scored 44 goals, topping Danilo Doncic’s record and becoming the record goal scorer in a single season in Maltese football. Galea continued to find the net in the Second Division with Sirens FC, Mellieha SC and Qrendi FC. He also managed to score one goal in the Premier League when during season 2014/15 he wore the Floriana FC shirt, making 22 appearances for the top flight club.

The promising striker holds other records and has received important awards during his career. Truly a man for all seasons.
