Heavy defeat for Under-19 side to Slovenia

Slovenia scored five within the first thirty two minutes to beat Malta 5-0 in a match from Group 4 of the UEFA Under-19 Championship qualifying round at Sportpark Juliana in ‘s-Gravenzande, the Netherlands on Saturday.

Žan Celar opened the score on the 14th minute and Tomi Horvat doubled the score two minutes later. Adam Gnezda Čerin made it 3-0 n the 21st and six minutes later, Horvat added another. Captain Vanja Drkušič made it 5-0 on the 32nd minute.

Slovenia could have added another on the 75th when they were awarded a penalty but Tomi Horvat hit the posts from the penalty spot.

Malta plays the last game against Hungary on Tuesday. Hungary defeated Slovenia 2-1 but lost 0-2 to the Netherlands.
