Two Premier League players were banned by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Oussenyou Elhadji Ndaye (Naxxar) was suspended for one match while Andre Scicluna (Tarxien) was suspended for two matches.

Scicluna is ruled out of Tarxien’s next two games against Valletta and Birkirkara while Naxxar could not count on Ndaye for the game against St. Andrews.

Meanwhile Naxxar Lions official Victor Bellia was banned for two matches.

In Division 1, Christian Grech (Pietà), Shaun Gauci (Rabat) and Dillon Pace (Zabbar) were suspended for one match while Kurt Zahra and Firas Aboulezz (Attard), Jonathan Bugeja (Fgura), Joseph Chetcuti (Gudja) and Clayton Borg (Mgarr) were handed a one-match ban.
