Qrendi came back from two goals down to beat Mqabba 3-2 in one of the two BOV First Division matches at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Sunday.

Paul Chimeizie put Mqabba ahead on the 8th minute and Lyden Micallef doubled the score on the 25th. Two minutes in the second half, Kenneth Abela reduced the gape and Petar Mrvic equalised on the 64th. Shunsuke Nakamura notched the winner nine minutes from time.

Meanwhile a goal by Mario Andres Artieta Suarez on the 11th minute handed San Gwann a narrow win over Zabbar St. Patrick.

Qormi lead the way with 15 points, followed by Zebbug on 11, Sirens, Qrendi and San Gwann 10, Pietà and Zejtun 9, Mqabba 7, Zabbar 6, Vittoriosa 5, Marsa and Melita 3, Rabat 0 and Pembroke -1. Pembroke had ten points deducted.
