Swieqi United stay two points clear of the University of Malta following a 5-5 draw in a direct clash from the Gatorade Futsal League. A draw which puts UoM one point ahead of Hamrun Tre Angeli. These teams, along with with Valletta and Luxol, will be participating in the Elite Round.

The Universitarians netted their five goals thanks to a hat-trick by Spanish Jose Maria Aguilera Castellano and a goal apiece by Gary Inguanez and Leo Muscat. Swieqi United scored through Chris Cardona, Ryan Xuereb, Zurab Lukava and a brace by Shota Chanukvadze.

Meanwhile Luxol and Hamrun Tre Angeli maintained their winning trends. Luxol defeated Tarxien JMI 8-3 while Hamrun continued to impress as they trashed Pietà Nordiska 12-1.
