Msida St. Joseph registered a comfortable 4-1 win over Mtarfa in one of the two BOV Third Division matches at the Charles Abela Stadium on Sunday.

Dylan Attard gave Msida the lead on the 9th minute and although Miguel Xerri equalised on the 26th, Cristian Toro Perdomo restored the lead two minutes from the end of the first half. A brace by Ibrahim Tarik on the 58th and 67th sealed the issue for the Saints.

On the other hand, a brace by Warren Zerafa on the 46th and 54th gave Zurrieq a 2-0 win over Marsaskala.

Sta. Venera and Mellieha lead the way with 32 points, followed by Xghajra on 25, Kirkop 24, Msida 22, Mdina 20, Zurrieq 17, Ghaxaq 15, Dingli 13, Mtarfa 10, Marsaskala 7 and Ta’ Xbiex 4.
