BIrzebbuga St. Peter’s awarded 3-0 win by MFA Board of Control & Discipline

Birzebbuga St. Peter’s were awarded a 3-0 win by the MFA Board of Control & Discipline after the BOV Second Division match against St. George’s, which was played on February 24th at the Sirens Stadium, was abandoned by referee Ezekiel Barbara on the 97th minute after being threatened by players of St. George’s.

The score was still goalless.

Meanwhile the board awarded Xghajra Tornados a win after the Youth League Section D against St. Venera Lightnings was abandoned on the 63rd minute after the players of Sta. Venera abandoned the field of play after an object was thrown in the direction of their goalkeeper. The 6-1 score in favour of Xghajra is to stand.

The board also awarded Gozo FC a win after the Women’s Under-19 League match against Sirens FC which was played on February 25th as the latter ended up with just six players on the field of play after starting the game with eight players and then having two players leaving the pitch injured. The 11-0 score in favour of Gozo FC is to stand.
