Tarxien Rainbows won the Women’s League Section A championship as they maintained an unbeaten record, finishing no less than ten points clear of runners-up Birkirkara.

The Rainbows dropped the only points in two draws with Gozo and Raiders (Luxol). In thirteen matches, they scored 68 goals and conceded just seven.

Meanwhile Raiders (Luxol) placed third, followed by Gozo, Kirkop United and Mgarr United. On the other hand, Mosta won Section B, three points ahead of Zebbug Rangers. Sirens withdrew from the competition and their remaining matches were given as walk-overs.

Kailey Willis of Tarxien finished as top scorer ahead of Michela Bonello Ghio of Raiders (Luxol) and Demi Magrin of Kirkop.
