SK Victoria Wanderers retained their First Division status after defeating Second Division runners-up Sannat Lions 2-0 in the BOV Gozo Football League Play-Off at the Gozo Stadium on Saturday.

Anthony George Attard put the Wanderers ahead on the 37th minute and just before the end of the first half, Nicholas Vella doubled the score.

BOV Gozo Football League Second Division champions Munxar Falcons are therefore the only team to win promotion to the top division.
