Two Balzan players on training camp in Serbia

Balzan FC announced that two of their promising young players – Malta Under-19 international Jamie Zerafa and Macedonian Under-19 international Antonio Mitrev were invited to train for ten days with Serbian professional club FK Indjija who is currently competing in the Serbian top division.

President Anton Tagliaferro said: “I am very happy that we continue to grow as a club and continue to create international network, as I am sure this will be a great experience for those boys to train and try their talent in a country like Serbia, well known for producing very quality young players that are playing in top clubs all over Europe.”

Jaime Zerafa said: “I am looking forward for this opportunity as my dream is to play football on a big stage and I know that in the country like Serbia I must give all the effort to prove my quality and I feel it the right move for my further development.”

Both players will be in FK Indjija for 2 weeks later on this month.
