Malta international midfielder Paul Fenech will be making a return to Birkirkara, two-and-a-half years after leaving the Stripes to join Balzan as he signed a three-year deal with the club.

A product of Naxxar Lions, Paul Fenech joined Msida St. Joseph in summer 2005 but after two years with the club, he joined Birkirkara in June 2007. With the Stripes, he won all major honours, including two Premier League championships, one FA Trophy and one Super Cup and the MFA Footballer of the Year in 2013.
