Terence Agius completes Birkirkara move; Mislav Andjelkovic to stay

Birkirkara FC continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of former Malta Under-21 international midfielder Terence Agius from Balzan. He signed a three-year deal with the Stripes.

Terence Agius had joined Birkirkara in January on loan. He made ten appearances and scored one goal.

A product of Pietà Hotspurs, Agius joined Balzan in the January 2015 transfer window. He was loaned to Pembroke Athleta in January 2016. Last summer, Agiust was loaned to Hamrun Spartans but mid-way through the season, he was loaned to Birkirkara.

Meanwhile Mislav Andjelkovic will be staying with the Stripes after agreeing another one-year deal.

The 30-year old former Istra 1961, Hajduk Split and Koper midfielder had joined Birkirkara mid-way through season 2015/16. The two parties seemed set to part ways at the end of season 2016/17 but in September, he agreed a new deal with the club until the end of the past season.
