Birkirkara remain one of the busiest teams in the transfer market with the signing of another two new foreign players – Brazilians Danilo Chapoval de Azevedo and Thiago Brito.

Twenty-four year old Brazilian defender Danilo Chapoval De Azevedo played for a number of clubs in Brazil including Serra Talhada, Decisao and Central over the past two years.

On the other hand, twenty-five year old striker Thiago Esmerindo de Souza de Brito played for a number of clubs in Brazil including Uberaba, Barueri, Portuguesa and Santos and following a spell with Al Nasr in Kuwait, played for Santos, Vila Nova, Campinense, Santos B, Trabalhadore, Patrocinense and Manaus

Birkirkara have earlier signed Uchenna Calistus Umeh, Marcelo de Siqueira, Eduardo dos Santos, Fabiano Lima, Paul Fenech, Terence Agius and Michael Mifsud. Stanimir Miloskovic, who turned out for the Stripes in the UEFA Europa League Preliminary Round matches, has now joined Victoria Hotspurs in Gozo.
