Paul Falzon (St. Andrews) and Joe Sammut (Pietà Hotspurs) were elected to represent Member Clubs in General in the Executive Committee of the Malta Football Association during the association’s Annual General Meeting which was held at the Grand Hotel Excelsior on Saturday.

Paul Falzon obtained 48 votes and Joe Sammut 81. The other two candidates: Ian Micallef and Paul Spiteri obtained 38 votes and 45 votes respectively.

No other election was necessary as there were the same number of nominations for the same number of vacancies. The Ordinary Members of the Executive Committee for season 2018/19 ae therefore:
Premier Division: Mario Debono (Sliema), George Galea (Mosta);
First Division: Dr Peter Fenech (Lija), Laurence Seychell (Vittoriosa);
Second Division: Michael Cutajar (St. George’s), Dr Marc Sant (Siggiewi);
Third Division: Not. Cory Greenland (Marsaskala), Raymond Micallef (Attard);
Member Clubs in General: Paul Falzon (St. Andrews), Joseph Sammut (Pietà);
Member Associations: Lawrence Aquilina (MFCA), Lino Bartolo (District FL);
Gozo FA: Dr Samuel Azzopardi and
Youth FA: Joe Micallef
