After acquiring the services of Antonio Monticelli and Sebastian Nayar, Hamrun Spartans continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of a third Floriana player, Enrico Pepe. They re-join former Floriana coach Giovanni Tedesco.

The 28-year old central defender had started his career with Campobasso and later played for Salernitans, Cassino, Paganese and Messina before joining Floriana in summer 2015.

Hamrun had earlier secured the services of Njongo Lobe Priso Doding, Jorge Nicolás Pandiani Quaglia, Samuele Romeo, Carlos Hernan Henneberg, Orestis Nikolopoulos, Pietro Viggiani, Conor Borg, goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo and defender Matthew Gauci.
