Hamrun Spartans continue squad revamp

Hamrun Spartans continued to strengthen their squad with the signing of another three players – Walter Ruben Acuna, Francesco Marra and Ryan Darmanin.

Twenty-six year old Argentinian centre forward Walter Ruben Acuna started his career with Rosario Central and later spent time on loan with Olimpo de Bahia Blanca and Club Atletico Colon. Last season he played for CD Juventud Unida.

Eighteen year old Italian winger Francesco Marra played at youth level with Lanciano, Fidelis Andria and Lecce and later had spells with San Nicolo and ASD Monticelli.

Thirty-two year old sriker Ryan Darmanin is a product of Floriana but had spells on loan with Tarxien Rainbows and Marsaxlokk. He later played for Balzan, Birkirkara, St. Andrews, once again for Tarxien and finally Siggiewi.

Hamrun had earlier secured the services of Enrico Pepe, Antonio Monticelli, Sebastian Nayar, Njongo Lobe Priso Doding, Jorge Nicolás Pandiani Quaglia, Samuele Romeo, Carlos Hernan Henneberg, Orestis Nikolopoulos, Pietro Viggiani, Conor Borg, goalkeeper Manuel Bartolo and defender Matthew Gauci.
