Gozo lost 0-4 to Vojvodina in the opening match from Group 5 of the Intermediate Round of the UEFA Regions Cup at the Neustadt Stadium in Neustadt an der Donau in Bavaria, Germany on Thursday.

The Serbian side took the lead on the 13th minute thanks to Branislav Hadinac and a Lawrence Grima own goal put them two goals ahead. Thirteen minutes in the second half, Branislav Savija made it 3-0 with Bosko Papovic adding another five minutes from time.

On Sunday, Gozo face hosts Bavaria at the Leiblfing Stadium in Leiblfing. Bavaria lost 1-2 to Ironi Tiberias in another match on Thursday.
