UEFA Futsal Champions League: Valletta beaten in final Main Round game

Valletta lost to 5-0 to strong Lithuanian side Vytis in the final match from Group 8 of the UEFA Futsal Champions League Main Round qualifier at the Športová hala Arena in Lucenec, Slovakia on Saturday.

Guesinho Genigle put Vytis ahead after just 18 seconds and Jurij Jeremejev doubled the score three minutes later. Arsenij Buinickij converted a penalty on the 29th minute and in the final four minutes, Japa and Justinas Zagurskas added another two goals.

Vytis won the mini-tournament with maximum points, followed by  Futsal Klub Lučenec on 6 points while Araz Naxçivan and Valletta shared the bottom place with one point. Valletta had lost narrowly to Lučenec and drew with Araz Naxçivan.
