Dramatic win for Under-21 side over Hungary

The Malta Under-21 side collected its first points in Group 6 of the UEFA Under-21 Championship after defeating Hungary 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Thursday.

Matthew Guillaumier put Malta ahead on the 12th minute but four minutes in the second half, Attila Szalai leveled matters. The locals were therefore set to earn their first point in the group but Myles Beerman scored on the 91st minute to claim the three points for Malta after eight defeats in the first eight matches.
