Birkirkara all out to move back on track

After losing to Hamrun Spartans last week, Birkirkara will be hoping to bounce back on Friday as they take on Sliema Wanderers at the National Stadium, kick-off at 19:00.

The defeat to Hamrun was the third one in four matches and the fourth so far. The season so far was far from impressive with just four wins in eight matches. They share the sixth place with Hamrun Spartans on 12 points.

Sliema, on the other hand, hope to return to winning ways following the narrow defeat to Hibernians which saw them fall from second to fourth in the table. The Wanderers lie on the 16-point mark, six behind leaders Gzira and two behind Valletta and Hibernians.
