Msida St. Joseph and Attard both registered comfortable wins in the two BOV Third Division matches at the Sirens Stadium on Saturday.

Msida St. Joseph beat Ghaxaq 4-0. Fabio Muscat put Msida ahead on the 23rd and three minutes later, Matthew Borg doubled the score. Dylan Attard increased the lead on the 38th and Joseph Chetcuti scored a fourth goal two minutes from the end of the first half.

Attard, on the other hand, defeated Mtarfa 4-0. Jurgen Gerada scored twice within the first twelve minutes – on the 6th and the 12th – to give Attard a two-goal lead. Lydon Cuschieri made it 3-0 on the 33rd and Nicolai Sammut added another on the 62nd.

Zurrieq, Xghajra and Dingli lead the way with 15 points, followed by Attard on 13, Kirkop and Msida 11, Mdina 9, Ta’ Xbiex 4, Marsaskala and Ghaxaq 3, Gharghur and Mtarfa 0.
