Birkirkara FC Futsal register fourth win

Birkirkara FC Futsal register another well deserved victory as they defeated Pietà Hotspurs 5-1 to join Swieqi United in third place in the MFA Futsal League. However Swieqi United have a game in hand and will face UM Futsal Academy.

The Stripes looked very well organised and were pleased to introduce their latest acquisition Everton Da Silva Santos, better known as Veve, who returned to Malta after playing for Hamrun.

Jason Mifsud and Ayoub Ahmad both scored two for Birkirkara with Rennie Tanti scoring their other goal. Pietà Hotspurs reduced the gap through Leandros Calleja’s goal scored in the second half.

In other matches, Valletta FC Futsal found no difficulty in disposing of UM Futsal Academy with a 19-0 score. Luxol St. Andrews defeated Tarxien Rainbows 6-1 while University of Malta Students beat Luxol St. Andrews U19 10-5.
