Rabat Ajax joined Mgarr United on top the BOV Second Division table as they defeated Mellieha 1-0 at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Mgarr United, on the other hand, were held in a 1-1 draw by Kalkara. Lazar Doric put Mgarr ahead on the 26th but Didier Sohna equalised on the 63rd minute.

Rabat and Mgarr lead the way with 26 points, followed by Birzebbuga and Marsaxlokk on 23, Fgura 22, St. George’s 21, Melita 20, Zabbar 10, Sta. Venera 9, Mellieha 8, Siggiewi and Kalkara 7 and Luqa 5.
