Angan brace hands Mosta precious points

Davy Angan N’Guessan scored twice to hand Mosta three precious points in the clash with Tarxien Rainbows at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday. Mosta therefore move back fourth from bottom and now lie two points behind Floriana and St. Andrews and four behind Tarxien.

For the Rainbows, this was the third defeat in five matches.

Destin Mambouana was making his debut for the Rainbows while Mosta had substitute Jonas Rodriguez Ekani making his first appearance as he starts another spell with the club.

Mosta took the lead on the 63rd minute when off a Juri Cisotti effort was blocked into a corner and off the rebound, Davy Claude Angan N’Guessan placed the ball at the back of the net.

Eleven minutes from time, Davy Claude Angan N’Guessan doubled the score with another goal, hitting home from close range when served by Cisotti.
