Nine Premier League players suspended

Nine Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Paul Fenech and Elkin Serrano Valero (Balzan), Danilo Chapoval (Birkirkara), Tiago Galvao da Silva (Floriana), Marcelo Dias (Hibernians), Neil Pace Cocks (Pieta), Tensior Gusman (Qormi), Mark Scerri (Sliema), Kevyn Mcfarlane (St. Andrews) were all handed a one-match ban.

In Division 1, Brooke Farrugia (Zejtun) was suspended for two matches while Josuel Azzopardi (San Gwann, Ryan Caruana (Santa Lucia), Ibrahim Salis (Swieqi), Irvin Abela (Vittoriosa) were all handed a one-match ban. Gudja official Michele Caruana was banned for one match while Naxxar physio Peter Saliba was suspended for two matches.

In Division 2, Damon Grima (Marsaxlokk), Fabien Lufi (Melita), Lyden Micallef (Mġarr), Jamie Muscat (Rabat), Chris Vella (Sta. Venera) and Aidan Agius (Żabbar) were banned for one match while Rabat Ajax president Amadeo Zammit was banned for one year.

In Division 3, Derome Agius (Marsaskala) and Nestor Luis Silva Canas (Xgħajra) were suspended for one match.
