Dramatic win hands Hibernians sole leadership

Hibernians take sole leadership in the BOV Premier League as they came from behind to beat St. Andrews 2-1 at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday. A win which puts the Paolites two points clear after Valletta were held in a draw by Senglea Athletic.

The Saints took the lead just before the end of the first half as two minutes in added time Adrian Borg headed the ball home off a Joseph Farrugia corner.

Hibernians equalised on the 76th minute thanks to a great freekick by substitute Marco Sahanek who gave goalkeeper Calleja Cremona no chance.

Two minutes from time, Jake Grech notched the winner for Hibernians, hitting home from close range following a cross by Marcelo Dias.
