A stoppage time goal enabled Sirens to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw with Santa Lucia in a match from the BOV First Division at the Centenary Stadium on Saturday. Santa Lucia therefore managed to halt the St. Paul’s Bay side’s winning streak as the latter had won the previous ten matches.

Patrick Jean Texeira Maia put Santa Lucia ahead on the 20th but Luka Mijic equalised deep into added time.

In another match, a goal by Kyle Muscat on the 29th minute gave Swieqi United a narrow win over Vittoriosa Stars.
