Six Premier League players suspended

Six Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

Maurizio Vella (Birkirkara), Emerson Marcelina (Floriana), Sacha Borg (Gzira), Davide Mansi and Kassiano Soares (Qormi),  Alex Satariano (St. Andrews) were all handed a one-match ban. 

Vella is ruled out of the match against Tarxien, Marcelina skips the clash with Balzan, Borg is unavailable for Gzira vs Senglea while Mansi, Soares and Satariano are ruled out of St. Andrews vs Qormi.

Sliema assistant coach Ivan Woods was also banned for one match. 

In Division 1, Clifford Gauci (Lija), Mark Fenech and Ryan Mercieca (Naxxar), Beppe Muscat and Mark Anthony Borg (Pembroke), Mark Barbara (Qrendi), Kevin Camilleri (Santa Lucia), Mattia Del Negro (Sirens) and Jose Lucas Caetano da Silva (Zebbug) were handed a one-match ban.

Karl Saliba (Kalkara), Jacob Farrugia (Mellieha), Nicholas Abela (Mgarr) and Evair Grech (Zabbar) were suspended for one match in Division 2.

In Division 3, Christian Farrugia (Attard) was banned for two matches while Miguel Grech and Glenn Micallef (Dingli), Luca Mizzi (Kirkop), Nicholas Joe Cauchi (Msida) and Ryan Farrugia (Zurrieq) were handed a one-match ban.
