Another tricky test for Hibernians

After being held in a 1-1 draw by Hamrun Spartans on Friday, joint-leaders Hibernians face another tricky test on Tuesday as they take on Sliema Wanderers at the National Stadium, kick-off at 19:00.

The Paolites currently share the top spot with Valletta on the 47-point mark They won five out of the last seven matches, dropping the points in a defeat to Valletta apart from the draw with Hamrun. However on Tuesday, they could not count on the suspended Taylon Nicolas Correa Marcolino.

The Wanderers, on the other hand, are currently fourth on 37 points, four behind Gzira and one ahead of Birkirkara. They registered three wins in the last three matches for an unbeaten run of six matches.

In the first round, Hibernians registered a narrow 1-0 win.
