Futsal: Luxol stun Valletta in first play-off

Valletta started on a bad note the first best of five Elite Play Offs as Luxol had their best winning 6-1.

Luxol were eager to win this match and had a three goals advantage in the first half through Celino Alves’ brace and Emil Andrei’s successful shot from the seconf penalty spot.

Valletta opened positively the second half but soon Luxol regained the full conrtol of the match and scored three more goals through Maicon Silva’s brace and Mark Zammit’s goal.

One minute from the end of the match Jovica Milijic reduced the gap, after earlier Camilo Gomez lost the opportunity from the second penalty spot.

Also this week three Promotion Play Offs were played with the University of Malta Students Team playing twice. In the first encounter they lost 6-4 against Tarxien Rainbows and won 6-5 against crowned First Division Champions Pietà Hotspurs. Pietà also played against Swieqi United U21 and they won with the end result of 5-2.
