Former Valletta FC captain Gilbert Agius has been officially appointed as interim Head Coach till the end of the season.

This was decided earlier this week during a committee meeting led by Club President Victor Sciriha, after Danilo Doncic had handed his resignation from Club Head Coach for personal reasons earlier on this week.

This decision was taken by both parties, and both agreed to terminate their respective contractual relationship in view of the Head Coach decision.

In a statement, Valletta FC thanked Danilo Doncic for his work and commitment at the Club throught his tenure, playing an instrumental role for the club’s memorable Treble success.
