Birkirkara FC announced that the club have reached a mutual agreement with senior team coach Mark Buttigieg to part ways. The club added that Buttigieg gave his resignation following a meeting with the club's committee. Buttigieg has been appointed as senior team coach late in March following the departure of Sporting Director John Arne Riise.
