Ten Premier League players suspended

Ten Premier League players suspended Ten Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disicplinary Commissioner.

The players are Enzo Ruiz (Floriana), Justin Junior Mengolo (Gzira), Dexter Xuereb (Mosta), Tensior Gusman (Qormi), Stefano Bianciardi (Sliema), Adrian Borg and Ricardo Martin (St. Andrews), Siraj Arab Eddin and Matthew Tabone (Tarxien) and Steve Borg (Valletta).

Justin Mengolo and Dexter Xuereb are ruled out of Mosta vs Gzira; Stefano Bianciardi will skip Balzan vs Sliema; Siraj Arab, Matthew Tabone and Steve Borg are ruled out of Valletta vs Tarxien. St Andrews could not count on Borg and Martin for the clash with Floriana who will be lacking Enzo Ruiz while Tensior Gusman is ruled out of the match against Birkirkara

Qormi official Julian Azzopardi was banned for two matches.

In Division 1, Edson Cerqueira Farias (Naxxar) was banned for three matches while Christian Caruana (Qrendi), Gaetano Gesualdi (Sirens), Irvin Abela and Jean Claude Galea (Vittoriosa) and Gregori de Sousa Braga (Zebbug) were handed a one-match ban.

Joey Reno Vella (Fgura), Jean Pierre Attard (Melita), Ian Pace (Siggiewi), Yau Mun Law (Sta. Venera) and Carl Magro (Zabbar) were suspended for one match in Division 2 while in Division 3, Stefi Cale (Mdina) and Wade Cini (Msida) were suspended for three matches; Domenico Marsala and David Mifsud (Gharghur), Kurt Schembri (Marsaskala) were suspended for one match.
