Victoria Hotspurs crowned another successful season after winning the GFA Super Cup in August and the BOV Gozo Football League First Division championship last month as they came from behind to beat Nadur Youngsters 3-2 after extra-time in the final of the BOV GFA Cup.

Luke Tabone put Nadur ahead on the 12th minute and Daniel Mateo Bustos doubled the score on the half-hour. Andrew Mizzi reduced the gap on the hour and two minutes later, Shaun Bajada equalised.

With the score still draw at the end of the ninety minutes, the game went into extra-time and Emiliano Lattes notched the winner ten minutes in the second half of extra-time.

Horace Laudi, Chief Officer at Bank of Valletta and Dr Samuel Azzopardi, President of the Gozo Football Association presented the BOV GFA Cup to captain Ferdinando Apap.
