MFA issues statement after allegations by Taylon

The Malta Football Association issued a statement in which it stated that the
Integrity Officer and Prosecutor of the Malta Football Association are looking into a comment on Facebook by Hibernians FC striker Taylon Nicolas Correa Marcolino on Monday.

The association added that the Police have also been informed about the matter.

In his comment, Taylon alleged that an individual sent someone to his house to offer him money in order not to play the Championship Decider against Valletta on Saturday.

Reference is made to the message allegedly posted on social media by Hibernians FC player Taylon Nicolas Marcolino today – Monday, May 6, 2019.
 
The matter is being looked into by the Integrity Officer and Prosecutor of the Malta Football Association.
 
The police have also been informed.
