L-Edizzjoni ta' din is-sena qed tkun organizzata minn Events Services u qed titella` bill-kolaborazzjoni tal-Kunsill Malti ghall-iSport.

  Football Awards Ceremony to be held tonight

The 4th edition of the Westin Malta Football Awards will be held tonight. Various local sports journalists will be handing out the Awards to the winners. This year's edition will also be transmitted live on Net TV and will be anchored by Antonella Vassallo and John Busuttil.

The 13 categories, which will be contested tonight, are:
Best Defender, Best Midfielder, Best Goalkeeper, Best Striker, Best Gozitan Player, Best Futsal Player, Best Female Player, Most Promising Youngster, Best Goal of the Season, Best Coach, Best Foreigner, Best Maltese Player, Powerade Public Best Player Award. A special career Award will also be presented during the show.

In the meantime a neck-to-neck competition is currently underway between Ivan Woods of Sliema and Gilbert Agius of Valletta both at the moment leading the Powerade Public Best Player Award which is solely being voted for by the general public by an sms voting procedure. The following players are contesting this Award and other players may be voted for by using the seventh open line.
