BOV-First-DivisionFgura United extended their positive run in the BOV First Division to ten matches as they defeated Msida St. Joseph 2-1 thanks to a goal in added time.

Ryan Previ put Fgura ahead on 56 minutes but Dylan Attard equalised two minutes later. The game seemed heading for a draw but Roland John Emeka notched the winner on the 91st minute.

In another match, Mqabba were held in a 1-1 draw by Zurrieq.

BOV-First-DivisionLeaders Gudja United were held in a second consecutive goalless draw in the BOV First Division as they shared the spoils with Gzira United at the Centenary Stadium on Friday.

Gudja move one point ahead of St. Andrews with Gzira, who were coming from a fine run of six successive wins, joining the Saints in second place.

BOV-First-DivisionGudja United failed to regain sole leadership in the BOV First Division as they were held in a goalless draw by Mqabba in one of the matches in programme at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday. A draw which puts Gudja on level points with St. Andrews.

Pembroke Athleta could have also joined them on top but a goal by Andre Farrugia two minutes from time gave Fgura United an important win over them. For Fgura, this was the ninth consecutive positive result.

BOV-First-DivisionA goal by new signing Nemanja Milovanovic after less than a minute enabled Gzira United to register a sixth consecutive win as they beat Rabat Ajax 1-0 in one of four matches from the BOV First Division.

The Maroons join Gudja United on the 28-point mark but Gudja have a game in hand.

St. Andrews regained the top spot thanks to a goal on the 93rd minute which enabled them to beat Vittoriosa Stars 1-0.

BOV-First-DivisionSt. George’s and Lija Athletic shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw as the BOV First Division resumed on Friday at the Centenary Stadium. A draw which puts both sides on the 22-point mark together with Vittoriosa Stars.

Beppe Antignolo put Lija ahead after just four minutes but Larson Mallia equalised on the 13th minute.
