The Board of Appeals of the Malta Football Association did not uphold the appeal presented by Vittoriosa Stars FC against the decision of the Board to Investigate Corrupt Practices taken on the August 24th whereby Vittoriosa Stars FC were relegated from the Premier Division to the First Division with immediate effect and fined €4000.
Vittoriosa now have the possibility of taking the case in front of the Independent Arbitration Tribunal.
On Monday, Marsaxlokk FC, who were also relegated from the Premier Division to the First Division and fined €4000, announced that they will be appealing against the decision.
