FIFA Referee Esther Azzopardi has been appointed to officiate in a UEFA Women’s Under-19 Qualifying Round Group 11 mini-tournament in Portugal between the 19th and the 24th September 2009. Besides Portugal, the other teams taking part will be Iceland, Switzerland and Romania. 
FIFA Referee Marco Borg has been appointed to officiate in a UEFA Under-17 Qualifying Round Group 6 mini-tournament in Bulgaria between the 27th September and the 2nd October 2009. He will be accompanied by FIFA Assistant Referee Ingmar Spiteri. Besides Bulgaria, the other teams taking part will be Latvia, Sweden and Republic of Ireland. 
FIFA Referee Chris Lautier has been appointed to officiate in a UEFA Under-17 Qualifying Round Group 12 mini-tournament in Wales between the 28th September and the 3rd October 2009. He will be accompanied by FIFA Assistant Referee Mariano Debono. Besides Wales, the other teams taking part will be Russia, Iceland and Bosnia-Herzegovina.
