Premier League resumes on September 25

The BOV Premier League will resume on Friday 25th September with the clash between Sliema Wanderers and Valletta, kick-off at 19:30. The Malta Football Association confirmed the fixtures for the coming week until October 2.
The programme for the weekend continues with two matches on Saturday when the two teams which were re-instated in the Premier Division – Msida St. Joseph and Hamrun Spartans take on Qormi and Birkirkara respectively. On Sunday, Floriana meet Tarxien Rainbows and Hibernians face Dingli Swallows.
Another two matches will be in programme on Wednesday 30. Two matches which form part of the first round of matches. Sliema Wanderers take on Msida St. Joseph and Hibernians face Hamrun Spartans.
Meanwhile due to works at the Centenary Stadium, this weekend’s BOV Second Division and BOV Third Division matches will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
The BOV Second Division League kicks-off on Saturday with the games Zurrieq vs Lija Athletic and Birzebbuga St. Peter’s vs Zebbug Rangers. On Sunday morning, St. Andrews take on Mellieha and Rabat Ajax face Gharghur.
The BOV Third Division Section A kicks-off on Sunday afternoon with Luqa St. Andrews vs Siggiewi and Mdina Knights vs Pembroke Athleta.
