Qormi aim at establishing themselves among the elite

“The committee will continue working hard to establish Qormi FC among the leading clubs on the island while working in a most professional manner.” Qormi FC president Matthew Fenech was speaking during the launching of the new club website at an event for club sponsors.
Mr Fenech thanked Portomaso Casino Live, Kia Motors, Jesper’s Bakery, Express Trailers Limited, Twilight Sound System, Alfred Gatt Autoparts, Team Sport, Ta’ Dernis Properties, Snow White Laundry and Dry Cleaners and General Soft Drinks for their continuous support. He said that through their financial support, these companies are helping the club in reaching its objectives.
The Qormi president said that the team led by Jesmond Zerafa and Vince Carbonaro had a most positive start to their Premier League campaign as they are currently sharing the top spot. The club has at its disposal several dedicated players who are loyal to the club. He praised Camilo Da Silva Sanvezzo, Ramon Dos Santos and Alfred Effiong who are considered among the best foreigners in the Premier League. 
As regards the new website, Mr Fenech thanked Warren Sammut for his hard work in revamping the website in a short period of time. He said this was also a sign of the serious and professional way the club was working. The website will complement the monthly newsletter which the club publishes for members and supporters.
Meanwhile team manager Jesmond Zerafa emphasised on the dedication being shown by his players and thanked coach Vince Carbonaro and the committee for their work. Captain Joseph Farrugia stressed that he and the players are glad to form part of the squad and they are all giving their hundred per cent.

Meanwhile in view of the top-of-the-table clash against Valletta, Qormi Football Club will be holding a social activity and a rally on Sunday morning in front of the club premises in Pjazza San Frangisk at 10:15. 
President Matthew Fenech, vice-president Redino Apap and captain Joseph Farrugia will be addressing those present. Club officials, players and the technical staff will be present.
