Nigerian striker for Vittoriosa Stars

First Division side Vittoriosa Stars signed Nigerian striker Henry Makinwa. The 31-year old striker also holds a Portuguese passport.
He started his career with Iwuanyanwu Nationale, before playing for Concord and Udoji United. He then moved to Spain where he played for Rayo Vallecano and then Portugal, playing for FC Penafiel, Vitoria Setubal, Gil Vicente FC and S.C. Farense. In 2003, Makinwa joined Rapid Bucharest but the following season, he returned to Portugal to play for C.D. Feirense.
Makinwa then played for Maccabi Petah Tikva in Israel, Egyptian side Al-Ahly, AEP Paphos in Cyprus, Tianjin Teda in China, Gretna in Scotland and finally PSMS Medan in Indonesia.
